Order Creation

When you create an order in Console, the order needs to be mapped to either an app or a website that is to be promoted. This order is then attached to either one of two key types of mobile campaigns: App-to-App or App-to-Web.

App-to-App

App-to-App campaigns involve serving an ad inside a mobile app that directs the user to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store upon clicking.

  • In the My App or Website field, select My App. Click on the New App button. (If you have added an App before, it will appear in the App Asset dropdown list.)

  • In the Create New App popup, enter the iOS App ID, Android Package Name (collectively called App Bundle ID) or Store URL.

  • All relevant information will be auto-filled when you enter the above information. You can visit Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store to get these IDs:

    • Google Play Store: The App Bundle ID is right after the "?id=" part of the App's URL, in the case below: com.king.candycrushsaga

    • Apple App Store: The App Bundle ID is right after the "id" part of the App's URL, in the case below: 553834731

  • Click Next.

  • You will need to review if the App added is correct. If so, click the Save button.

  • The App you wish to promote will be indicated in the Order.

Note:

  • There can only be one app linked to an order.

  • The same app on different OS (Android or iOS) are considered two separate apps. Thus, you will have to create two orders if you wish to promote them on both Android and iOS.

  • The campaign(s) attached to the Order will also need to follow the OS indicated in the Order.

App-to-Web

App-to-Web campaigns involve serving an ad inside a mobile app that directs the user to a mobile web page.

  • In the My App or Website field, select My Website. Click on the Create New Website button. (If you have added a website before, it will appear in the Website Domain dropdown list.)

  • In the Create New Website popup, enter the URL.

    Note:

    • The URL is the top-level domain for the advertiser landing page and should redirect to a working URL.

    • No additional sub-domains, paths, or characters.

    • Do not add click URL in this field. Click URL should be added as part of Creative and not Website Domain.

    • For example, if you are advertising for Dyson floor cleaners on Amazon Singapore website, the top-level domain should be https://www.dyson.com.sg/.

  • You will need to review if the Website added is correct. If so, click the Save button.

  • The Website you wish to promote will be indicated in the Order.

Once Order is created, you can proceed with the campaign setup.
